The perfect photo ops in Disneyland

If you’re like me, you sometimes struggle to get that perfect Instagram-worthy shot. Even if you do get some good pictures to post, it is a 30-minute production at least to decide which one you’ll post. This production is complete with asking friends for advice, crafting and recrafting your description and maybe even posting a picture but then quickly deleting it.

In another article, I talked about how to make your Disney vacation photo album practically perfect with the perfect photo ops in California Adventure park. But if you really want your album to be practically perfect in every way and get that perfect Instagram-worthy photo, you’ll need to stop by these photo ops in Disneyland!

1. Snow White’s Wishing Well

This quaint and secluded area over off to the side of the castle is a beautiful place to take a picture. I didn’t even know this area existed until two years ago, and the only reason I found it was because I saw Peter Pan walk over there. You¬†might even be lucky enough to find Peter Pan or Sleeping Beauty too!

2. The Mad Tea Party ride

Whether you take a selfie or have someone take a picture for you, the Mad Tea Party teacups are too cute to pass up! There is also a stationary teacup located by the Mad Hatter shop where you can take photos in.

3. In front of It’s a Small World

Hate it or love it, it’s a small world is as iconic as it is beautiful.

4. On the Matterhorn/Splash Mountain

The Matterhorn’s curved track is ideal for a quick photo before the ride takes off, but Splash Mountain works just as well!

5. With Dole Whip

Not only is it delicious, but it looks super cute in all pictures.

6. With your tickets

Even Disneyland’s tickets are adorable! Have everyone in your group circle up for a group picture.

7. The entrance of the park

The train station and Mickey Mouse head in the background make for the perfect photo opportunity.

8. Anything and anywhere in Toontown

Everything in Toontown is absolutely adorable. Wander around, grab a FastPass to Roger Rabbit (don’t wait in line, it’s a trap) and take pictures with anything and everything you see.

9. With Mickey Mouse and Walt

Snap your picture with Mickey and Walt Disney admiring their kingdom. But don’t be like us. Take it in the day, and make sure to not cover up Mickey like I did!

10. With Mickey Mouse himself

You can almost always find Mickey Mouse inside his house at Toontown.

11. With Mickey Mouse balloons

I have yet to try this photo, but there are so many ways to take a Minnie or Mickey Mouse balloon and turn it into an adorable photo. You can all buy one and hold them over your faces, making for the cutest family photo ever. Or you can get a picture of you holding the balloon in front of the castle. The options are endless!

12. In front of Pirates of the Caribbean

Disneybound while you’re at it!

13. With characters

I love to get photos with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore in Critter Country!

14. The Castle

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in all its majesty is by far the number one photo op in Disneyland park!

While these are the best photo ideas I have found, it is by no means a complete list. If you have Disney vacation photos you would like featured send me an email or comment below.
